I am pleasantly surprised by the new harpoon features. I was simply sailing around, picking up random loot, using the harpoon to climb to slightly elevated areas on Devil's Ridge and Thieves Haven, using another harpoon to slide back down to the ship, and my harpoon rowboat getting me to a different part of the island. It makes getting onto islands and back onto the boat much more smooth and easier. It's great for solo players and I can imagine how great it will be with a crew that can stay on task and synchronized.
There were some issues at port, where I latched the harpoon onto the dock and when I tried to balance on the rope from the dock to the ship it didn't lock me on to the rope and I fell into the water after activating with 'R'. Other than that, I'm happy with the feature. Kudos!
