is it possible to make it so players can’t lower their flag AFTER sinking? twice now i’ve sank a boat fully and they’ve managed to lower their flag after sinking. i don’t think it’s fair that they can lower it after sinking. and no they didn’t lower before i literally watched the flag disappear at the top of the mast as it hits the water. (copy and pasted from bug report since they told me to put it here lol)

they changed how that works on skelly ships but not player ships
Now skelly ships give credit as soon as it sinks (used to work how player ships do)
Would be consistent and fair to do this for player ships in the emissary system as well.
One of those things that probably should have been addressed years ago imo.

Wow, that is a petty action right there.it can be but casual players could easily do this without even fully realizing it
same thing used to happen with raising the flag, some of the "exploits" are so easy to do that some of it isn't really that intentional.
On the veteran player side of things, yeah, they know lol

I've never had the opportunity. Ship sinks "Emissary status lost"...usually nowhere near a port to lower it.

xThis is typically an ambush while someone is selling thing
and most often at reapers

You mean, As they are sinking? Because I jumped in to test this. Table wont let me drop a dagger once my ship "Starts to sink" but I still can as its filling with Water.
Also, If your sinking people at Outposts, why bother?

and the Flag didnt appear in the water? Mine did this, disappeared after the whole body was in the water, did its thing and disappeared. Mermaid appeared and up popped "Emissary Lost" and flag in water.
@raccoonrain5933 I don't know if they are lowering it, because I've been in hourglass matches and won when we've been no where near an outpost and the emissary flag never came up with the barrels, I used to think it was people rage quitting or an alt f4 thing but after reading this I think it might be a bug. Have you had this happen in hour glass or just on the sea? Were they near an outpost?
