I think both myself and others will agree that 90 FOV is a little bit too zoomed in at times. 100 FOV would allow a more natural appearing field of view along with also helping players like myself who are prone to motion sickness from the view being unnaturally zoomed in enjoy the game more. Increase the maximum FOV from 90 to 100
@abjectarity I don't understand why they couldn't increase the FOV by 10 it wouldn't affect anything negatively.
@abjectarity Well the devs could just use 90 fov while they add 100 fov for everyone so nobody loses out
The thing about fov is there are 2 different types, i dont know how they work exactly, but 1 just adds more fisheye effect, while the other actually widens your view range, and sot does the second which creates a problem where people with higher fov can see a lot more than they should. When people cheated to get higher fov before, it made it possible for them to see behind their character, so it cant really be increased any more.
@goldsmen I've seen videos online of people using 100 FOV is SoT that were uploaded recently and it looks great.
