Unable to access Quest NPC/Shop NPC Menus due to "Trouble loading inventory" error (PC/Steam)

    I've recently come back to the game, and I've not been able to access any of the Quest NPC or Shop NPC menus. I've been getting the "trouble loading inventory" error, constantly. I've attempted the usual troubleshooting attempts (wreset, verify steam integrity, etc.) to no avail. This never was an issue before, back in late 2020. What happened? Did something drastically change in the servers?

    Is there an issue with servers around Asia? I'm currently in the Philippines. My ISP is PLDT (Philippine Long Distance Telephone Company). Is there an issue in the connections between PLDT and Microsoft Store/XBox/Sea of Thieves? Other people I know who also have PLDT as their ISP also run into the same problem.

    Edit: I've had some success with accessing the weapons store, Order of Souls and Gold Hoarders, though it's touch-and-go (sometimes inaccessible). I have 0 luck accessing Merchant Alliance and the Clothing shop.

    I can't access merchant and clothing shops either. This has been happening for more than a year now and mods/devs goes totally silent whenever someone brings this up. I am at a point where i can't do anything because i can't access to NPC inventories right now.

    You guys found any fixes? I've made another thread without seeing here first, i'm having the same problem:

    Merchant, Equipment and the other one is problably Clothing shops like you guys said always fail to load inventory. But the Clothing shop worked here sometimes, no luck with the merchant and equiment one.

    I'm on Brazil but friends with different ISP's are facing the same issues, should we go without never buying clothes, equipments and hating merchants because we can't become one? xD

    Hey guys I was in contact with support and after many tweaks without sucess what worked for me was using a Free VPN, it is not the best solution yet and I hope they can fix it but we can temporally solve it using the VPN to do Merchant Quests and buying the items we want and then closing it when not doing these things.

    Ahoy! Now the Lagging Merchants are born! hopefully temporarily xD

    Edit: Ah found the hidden edit button. Forgot to say the VPN I'm using is Windscribe, seen safe enough but i recommend using it only for the game, and avoid forgetting it on because all your data is now going trough them.
