Missing or corrupt data file - Game Error

    Hello everyone,

    I am having the following message when I try to start the game:

    *There is a missing or corrupt data file that is required for the game to run.

    To contact Rare costumer support, please incldue a screenshot of this message.

    Data file:
    ../../../Athena/Content/Paks/Core_d0591e28-9852-4466-a3a6-eb4c1aafd30c-WindowsClient_P9.pak
    Referencer: N/A
    Error code: PV02*

    I managed to fix it by verifying the game integrity. It found 4 broken files (a 2.1 GB download). But, I have had to do this like 4 times by now. Any fix?

    I think you may have to uninstall and reinstall. I would try that and see if it works, if not contact support.

    You might want to check to see if your drive is failing. If files are constantly getting corrupted, that could be an early warning sign.

    I have the same problem i tried uninstalling the game and downloading it on another drive but it still doesnt work. is there anywhere i can install ../../../Athena/Content/Paks/Core_d0591e28-9852-4466-a3a6-eb4c1aafd30c-WindowsClient_P9.pak because its missing.

    i got the game on steam. and had the same problem.
    go to library, right klick the game, properties, verify your game
    After that it installed som files and the game worked.

    Works of Fallout 4 also :P
