Razer Blade 15 GeForce GTX 1070 Max-Q, 8th Gen Intel Core i7, 256 GB SSD, 10 fps playing Sea of Thieves...

  • Hey there everybody, it's been almost a year since I got this splendid Razer Blade, it always has been a blast working with zbrush on it, which is basically everything I'm doing with it really, plus working on photoshop. Not a single problem in there.

My problem is that I could play Sea of Thieves at full "mythical "perf getting 60 FPS with not a single fps drop when I got it.
Been trying to play SoT since one week now, and man, it's not even possible to get past 10 FPS even in "rare" performances, which is basically the middle setting for graphics...
Everything is Updated, but still, impossible to play. Even in the lowest settings I sometimes get under 60 FPS... It's getting pretty frustrating, to have a gaming laptopt and not being able to play a GAME...

Any idea of where my problems could come from? Pretty please ^^'

  • Did you plug in the monitor in the motherboard?

    ??? ô.o

  • @snoop-sea-dogg

You should connect the monitor into the GPU, if you plugged it into the motherboard it will use the integrated GPU which is most likely junk-tier.

  • I've seen a few of these posts where the game runs far below what it should be capable of, and almost all of them are on NVIDIA GPUs. Maybe there is a setting in the geforce panel that is reducing performance?
