So the screen tearing is awful. The only way I can get rid of it is by running Windowed mode but then I have the taskbar to put up with (unless I then fiddle about with Windows 10 options and manually disable it (which I then have to re-enable once I'm out of game). This is just too much hassle to play this ONE game.
The game has been out for long enough now, PLEASE for the love of GOLD, add a Borderless Fullscreen option, you know, they way almost all modern games do.
This game runs on UWP framework which has no true fullscreen mode. It will probably always be full screen with the menu bar popping up when the mouse is visible. This is how UWP is supposed to work as it was supposed to unify desktop and tablets. UWP has also been mostly abandoned, so don't expect to see any improvements here unless they rewrite the framework the game is built on.
That is probably unlikely at this point in the lifecycle unless they have to do it to keep the game running.
