Arena - No Hit Feedback

I have found in the latest update that there is no feedback sometimes when I get shot. I see a guy shoot, i start to attack because he "missed" his shot then I am dead from in two swipes of a sword. He hit me with the pistol but there was no feedback so I didn't know, I cant constantly watch my health bar in battle.
