    The Arena is coming to Sea of Thieves - a game mode dedicated to contests of seafaring skill! Test your mettle when The Arena arrives in the Anniversary Update on April 30th.

    @skulliah Ahh the Arena! I love how vibrant the ship cosmetics look for each crew. I think it'll really help differentiate the crews so we can tell who is who even at a distance. I also hope that we'll be able to purchase these ship sets as regular sets for Adventure mode. I'm quite fond of the sky blue colored ship :) I can't wait to dive into this on April 30th or maybe May 1st, who knows I might be too distracted with Tall Tales!

    However, I hope we can enter the Sea dogs Tavern in Adventure Mode.

    Jon, Joe, and Shelley said you can't switch game modes, but you will be able to visit the outside and talk to the same NPCs that are inside on Arena mode.

    @dyfrin thanks mate.
    Although one thing I noticed is that Shelly said you can visit the exterior.
    I wonder if that means we won't be able to go inside the Tavern.

    @iativan I think the community needs to be more vocal about this... It seems like it isn't even on Rare's radar

    @jonavuka There have been quite a few posts in the past about it. But, Rare was also focusing on developing alot of PvE content. With this new PvP content, I'm sure the community will make the issue well know. Especially given how irritating it will be.

    I have scenarios where I have had multiple hit markers with the eye of reach on a player sitting on a cannon. They died after the 5th hit marker. Never left the cannon to eat a nana.

    When nobody else mentioned it...the capstain, the wheel and the masts can be destroyed...looks interesting, also that you see the anchor going down when it got hit...

    I didnt know you could damage the wheel and capstan , i knew about the mast... sheeeeeeeeeesh.
