Excited about next week, looking for friends and/or crew

    I am really excited for next week when this game comes out. Unfortunately I do not know very many people playing. Since sailing a small ship solo does not seem like the ideal way to play I would like to join a group or community to augment my experience.

    A few things about myself. I game pretty regularly and since I work from home I anticipate being very active (probably at my job's expense lol) I am an adult, 35 years old. And while I do not have an issue playing with people in their 20s, or even mature teenagers, I am generally looking for a adult community. That does not mean I am adverse to jokes or cursing etc. I do plenty of both. The main things I want to avoid are general trolling and general hate speech, political ravings, racial/sexual epithets etc. I have no tolerance for them. Otherwise general 4 letter bombs, jokes and pirating are great.

    If your community sounds like a possible fit let me know, and thanks for taking the time to read.

    I like the things you are looking for in a group. Your more then welcome to join our group of friends. My wife and I both play along with alot of other people. We avoid toxicity at all costs and avoid real world topics. It's a group for adults to act like pirates. Ha ha. If your interested then just send me a friend request.

    I'm in the same (don't know anyone else boat). If you've played other 4 player pairing games, you can join a public group and lock it down once everyone is ready. Meaning if someone has a sudden drop, they can join back up before another random person joins up. Of course, you can have people you've played with before starting a new adventure with you. If you liked the mates one your most recent quest, you can always add them to your friend's list to play again.
