Everytime I've ever attempted to talk about lore with friends or fellow HG players, they usually say it bores them, or that there's gaps in the story. I personally don't think there's as many gaps as people make out. I think the story really only bores the 10 year Olds who don't know how to read.
The lore to me has always been really good compared to a lot of other games, like Fortnite, Destiny, Halo, but that's just because I love the simplicity of Sea of Thieves story, they didn't go all out with it they simply, did it. They just made the story, trying to write it so that people would enjoy it and have fun playing it.
I personally wish Flameheart would come back and do something! I mean both Flameheart and the Pirate Lord are kinda just couch potatoes right now. I mean the whole purpose of the Burning Blade was supposed to be Flamehearts big return! Except there was none. So I hope that Rare has plans for the future that Flameheart would return. I mean maybe Flameheart is going to tame the Redmaw?? Or maybe the Hunters Call is going to wage war on Reapers?? I don't know I just wish we could get more lore!!
