The lore in this game often tends to "BoRe" people, why? WHO KNOWS! I actually love the storyline I find it very interesting, learning the Pirate
Lords origins, and the way they incorporate you into their story. However I have a question? What happened to FlameHeart? I was so excited when they talked about a war between Reapers and Athena, Many things ran through my mind, from another Golden Sands event to maybe even TAKING OVER AN ISLAND!! It sounded amazing!!!! But then,.....ALAKAZAM! it kinda just disappeared? I mean FlameHeart still sits at his throne but he.....doesn't really do anything? And as for the Burning Blade!? I don't know, I haven't found one since the update on Feb 20th, So I've grown SadAndOrAngered with it. I mean what happened to it? Potentially this Hunters Call update may be actually preparing for the next section of this maybe the Redmaw is going to be tamed for war by FlameHeart! But I don't know....your thoughts?

The Burning Blade has fallen into the World Event pool as it is no longer newest added feature in the season line-up so they have reduced its chance of spawning.
Flameheart does have some animations and voicelines if you turn in a Burning Blade to him. Not much else.
Although, having done a couple of the Burning Blades, not sure why when Flameheart accepts your tribute, he says "Come to us now, blade of vessel and blade of steel...Rise, loyal servants of the one true King!", nothing happens? I was expecting some skeletons to rise out of the ground or something to change at the Reaper's Hideout?They are introducing Reaper PvE voyages in the future, maybe they'll expand him out then.
Story will progress in the seasons to come.. maybe.
There are still many unanswered questions about the ancients, the dark bretherin court thingy and yes, flamefart.
The majority of the player base doesnt focus on lore.. so it takes a back seat to New features, items, bug fixes and whatnot.
Who knows.. they may stop progressing the "story" all together..
i mean, we dont get "adventures" Lore anymore with each season.Adventures were by far the best method of advancing the story while releasing new content every month, they stopped doing it probably because the content could not be repeated after it was removed and maybe because of the exclusive skins... which in my opinion is a big nonsense, make a library in Athenas fortune and tell the stories of these missions through books.
Rare could make the comics that are free on Amazon available within the game itself, this would help to increase interest in the plot and thus perhaps justify more attention to this aspect during the seasons.
