Why don't you go onto Call of Duty and ask them for PvE only servers?

They have a campaign and zombies for black ops.
Halo has firefight.
Titanfall has Outpost missions.
Even Fortnight has a "creative" mode where you can just goof off.

Btw. Maiden Voyage is a safe zone Rare said they'd never make... soooo

While your points are accurate. How was this game sold to the consumer? Never was it presented as a Story mode only game. Not once. So this argument is null when you compare it to other games. None the less you make proper points.

We bought into a game that is PvEvP. Not just PvE or PvP. These arguments that are outside this realm just do not apply. It is not what the game was sold to us as and would ruin this unique experience. All PvE games end up the same, we all know this.

Now, would would be best in my mind would be for Rare to port this concept to another series and then all the PvE'ers have their game and good to go. They can make more money and fun the entire program for years to come.

In context, I was mentioning pvp focused games that had pve elements because op was told to go ask for pve in Call of Duty.

Personally I avoid pvp here 99% of the time. 🤔 Did kill a couple of guys yesterday cause they attacked me while I was trying to show them some skeleton orders I didn't want going to waste since I was done. The game has gotten a LOT more pvp focused than I was originally sold on. Almost didn't play at all. If they ever take solo options away I'm done lol

@pithyrumble maiden voyage isnt a safe zone by the terms people have requested and rare declined. you cant just hide at the maiden voyage like an outpost while you eat a sandwich irl. its basically off-map but has to be in the world and on a server.

it is not at all a safe zone and you can run and hide your loot there and be safe

I see your point. I mean anytime you get a open world like this, I really expected to have a good amount of people trying to get easy loot and that. (Think of GTA Online, good lord just evil)

Yeah well, only reason why COD even maintains year after year is because of its PVP. That's pretty much the extent of its player base. Once they run though most of the PvE or MP that is objective base that is done and over. (And that goes pretty quick with maybe 6 - 8 hour stories and some Spec Ops that last level less). Why I said it's not the same over all but I got there OP was going with COD and PvE lol.

I wasn't going after you just I do see post like that and it really is Apple to Oranges.

But yes this game was going to end up being more of a PvP focus since the grind gets a little boring at times. The Tales are great and when they add more its awesome, but how many times can you really just run around that. Even going to chests and other missions, people still look to spice some things up.

But I guess with my background with a lot of MP based gaming I just wasn't surprised in this game. PvEvP really is keeping this game alive and well. Of course the content updates are much needed, but really you can only grind so much before you are a bit bored or need more. Casuals will not experience this as much but people who are grinding all the time, yeah its real.
