I'm glad you're here to fix my opinion! Could you please tell me which cosmetic outfits, sails, hulls, equipment, player titles, new ships and quests you get with and from PvP? I'd definitely love to get started reaping those awesome PvP rewards and achievements. Maybe I just missed them.

Sinking? I stopped playing after 6 days since everyone I knew ran out of PvE content and no need to get to legend either.

You're either getting nerfed or end up playing empty ships combat vs other PvP players.

Ill be back though when PvP gets nerfed into the ground or removed from the game. Either will happen very soon :)

Hate to say it but technically through pvp on treasure full ships you unlock all the content you want. It's a slower way to progress but you still earn gold in one way or another eventually by just doing pvp.

but this PvP game has PvE voyages, you said so yourself? PvP games can't have PvE in. That is why we have two seperate abbreviations for them. There is even a third one that you might of heard of? do you know what that is, it's the amalgamation (i guess saying mixture might help you comprehend) of the two seperate game styles of Player vs player and Player vs Environment.

i never said anything about pvp games not having any pve content. that was just you projecting and trying to help your flimsy case find solid ground.

you can whine about it here all you want, but the bottom line is that im going to sink you and take your stuff, and you will either fight back, or die. thats all there is to it.

PvP stands for, player vs player, that is the entire premise of PvP, that is why it isn't called PvPvE or PvE. because a PvP game means that the sole content of the game is based around killing other human controlled players.

Some quick examples of PvP.... CoD MP. R6 Siege MP, Fortnite BR, Pubg, Titanfall 2 MP...

now some of these games have SP components to them, a campaign or co-op campaign if you will... This is now called Player vs Environment. This means that PvE games don't even need to have an online or MP component for it to be considered a PvE game. So Wolfenstein: the new colossus is in fact a PvE game.

Luckily we smart folk have managed to create a term that involves both PvE and PvP together, Simplistically enough this term has been coined PvPvE meaning both player vs player and player vs environment can be experienced in the same session. This has been around for donkeys years. Since the first MMOs really. Now a PvPvE game is designed around both respecting the PvP players time as well as the PvE players time. Allowing both game styles to both coexist and merge into a unique gameplay loop.

So now you have a bit more knowledge... which one of these 3 is SoT? (it's not a hard one really ;) )

this is a pvp game. get over it.

So howcome the game Has "voyages" which involve a player (P) taking on (v) the environment, in other words, non player controlled combatants (E).

idk about you, but i find a lot of pvp at skull forts

we sank 6 ships during the hour it took us to do the last fort. only two of them had loot, but i had a lot of fun :)

You're either getting nerfed or end up playing empty ships combat vs other PvP players.

Ill be back though when PvP gets nerfed into the ground or removed from the game. Either will happen very soon :)

Naww, they're losing their prospective income. Tons of people like me on the verge of quitting. Don't worry, they either start paying more attention to PvE players and nerfing down PvP or it will be a very empty game indeed.

Of course you'll end up with less and less and less loot too, as the only ones left will be the ones only looking to PvP.

no worries, ill be 50 within the next week, and wont care about loot by then anyways. ive already got 250k with nothing to spend it on

Hate to say it but technically through pvp on treasure full ships you unlock all the content you want. It's a slower way to progress but you still earn gold in one way or another eventually by just doing pvp.

And that's why it's not a PvP game. Slower progression, no specific rewards for doing it that way or even achievements.
