Can we please stop asking for PvE only servers?

@subaqueousreach No sir you have not been civil, you have been insulting and arrogant through this entire thread. The very start of the thread is telling others what to do with their time, ideas, and energy. What gives you that right?
You claim Rare has stated it, but yet I have failed to see it in any of their advertising, or trailers that they have discounted the idea. I have seen that they have rules agaisnt attacking on ports (only to attack on the high seas in the pirate code) but yet they refuse to curtail or enforce that. What I see from them is a total lack of ANY commitment to anything. So I certainly do not feel it is a dead horse as you claim.
What I have seen is your arrogance towards thinking that YOU and only those who think like you can be correct means that you are never wrong in your opinion. When people disagree with you, you find it easy to think them toxic, as in Mcdougle99s case here. He has done nothing other then point out your not correct and you have labeled him toxic.
I think you should re-examine your comments and look at the arrogance you have approached this entire community with. You do not seem like you are intentionally trying to be a pain, but you certainly are coming across that way.

@blahsahrow i'm not bothering to give you actual replies anymore. go play/look at Elite Dangerous and tell me why there couldn't be a solo mode like that game. The fact that you admit to having a job and kids but have such an infantile "me no wanna" outlook on stuff like this is just astounding to me. but hey, trolls gonna troll.

@blahsahrow Yes, I hope I did not imply that it doesnt, but it also implies that those that dont want it should have to deal with it either doesnt it? I think it was originally meant for a more open and honourable style of play, and from what I have seen from interviews that is what I get also. You know how things get tho when met with reality. That is why I think they really need to clarify the game some, but are afraid to.

Oh no don't worry, it wasn't directed at you and a few others who don't share my opinion but are perfectly respectful. The only reason I'm writing in this thread is because I feel you and some others are mature enough to share your thoughts without being agressive (that goes for anti-PVP as well, both "sides" are so angry that I feel a bit ashamed for them), so I find it interesting and informative.

I actually PVE more than I PVP. I just dont want to divide the server pools. I LIKE playing on full servers where I never know what will happen. If servers are divided in to PVP/PVE then the mystery of player interaction is removed and the most exciting gameplay element (player interaction) is cheapened to nothing.

@lord-dyonsus Gosh golly....want me to look up the link to those interviews that I watched where they talked about "friendly" pirating? Want to talk about false advertising laws in many countries and states? I did do my research and you have done none...also just a note...one of my 4 sons has played for well over a year. TONS of stuff has changed from the betas things like the code of the pirate....that only got added 3 months ago and does call for safe zones.....pirates engage on the High seas....ports are not high seas. If you feel there is someplace ELSE them ports that could be in reference to im all ears.
but till then you have nothing to back you up except innuendo and hyperbole.

@weepaperboats YOU CAN'T TELL ME WHAT TO THINK but seriously if they added solo only servers and the game died that's 100% a comment on the type of players: people who want to play alone and people who want to troll people who play alone

For people who do NOT want PVE-servers : what solutions do you suggest to alleviate the feeling of being bullied and not being able to play the game the way they want to that some players have ?

@goblobsters such a weak reason. there would still be people to play PvP as those players WANT to play PvP

@duilliuth I understand that and I honestly believe rares intentions were a more CO Op style game. However two reasons I think the PVP is as ofter as it is now is because 1. people are already bored with current content. 2. game pass offers free 14 day trial so people are just trolling everyone for no reason because they can.

Goblobsters, as you just said, "you" want that. "You" feel that as exciting. It's now clear that some other players, abundant enough for this thread to exist, don't feel the same way as you do.

I dont think its weak at all. But you go right on ahead and stomp your feet and try and take away everyones guns ;) I will be watching with a grin on my face. Hope to see you on the high seas, and we can settle our disagreement using the pirate code.

@fostredpanda you need to actually argue that point if you want me to believe it, because Elite Dangerous has solo play and it's thriving

I think this game was made for everyone but people have to understand the game and how it works. playing only solo with no other players is not a option, however you can still play solo the game gives you that option. The game also states when choosing to play solo that its not easy.

Yep I did. The difference is that RARE made what I want. They advertised it to me. The told me about it, and delivered exactly what the described and advertised to me. I am HAPPY. You want a game that is not this one. I am SAD for you.
