I love this game. With that said, I will have to stop playing. This nonsense is the death of this game. Everyones time is being wasted and everyone should be compensated on any losses. I come home from work to relax and play. I start 3 separate voyages and all three were disrupted after I've already had the chests on board. The boat sinks for no reason. I had 5 chests in each of my voyages and they were all wiped out. I can't do this again. I gave you guys 3 chances with 3 different voyages and have been disappointed.
This is so awful. Wow.
If this happens to me again, I will quit this game faster than cliffy b's next failure.

The people have spoken, these smaller threads will not stop until the game is working properly. @bearcubbin I guess it's because there may still be many people waking up this morning unaware of the issues and the work being done to address them... people may prefer not to post into the mega threads but I can't just assume that so I'm giving out all the information available and allowing them to make their choices.
@bearcubbin I know a few people (the lucky ones) who this isn't happening to at all, so Rare will be wanting to gather feedback - especially through the support tool - as to who this is happening to! And then be able to work out patterns and pinpoint some of the issues rather than tackling this blind.
So any feedback/data points is very, very important. I would encourage anyone with the issue to place a support call.
@tedakin sends a pit of disbelief in your stomach, right? I'm a very forgiving person unless it's the boy who cried wolf. Rare is becoming the boy who cried wolf. I might be back in a week if this wave of nonsense is cleared up. Until that time I will play something else. When I finish this something else and try and log on, if I get one kick, I'm DONE. I will cancel my gamepass and buy Dark Souls remastered.
@vanquish-vii this will be cleared up. The people at Rare's jobs, and the success or failure of the entire studio is on the line. SoT is their only product right now and Microsoft are not known to be forgiving of failure amongst their first party studios (Remember Lionhead as just one example).
The real questions are how quickly can this be fixed and what can Rare do to rebuild confidence amongst the player base.

Like I said, I will give them a buffer while I play a different game. When I return, I'm really hoping this is all resolved. Also, who asked for the ability to hand people things? It seems like useless feature. If you could hand people things, it should be skulls, chests or an animal crate.
@vanquish-vii well I don't disagree with you. There's not a whole lot thats worth doing in the game if you can't be sure whether you'll all d/c from one minute to the next. The sensible option is to play something else until you can be sure that time spent on SoT won't be wasted by the scourge of almondbeard. You can be pretty sure that its all hands on deck over at Rare though, they sure as hell don't want this issue to continue into the weekend.

No your are not the only one. I have done a Raid allone. Loading up all the treasures and that stuff. On my way on an outpost and than. All crashes almondbeard. I am so angry about this. This was yesterday. Today the patch is removed, but after one houre of playing almondbears is back. This is no fun. I missed the N 64 days with the old Rare and the old testers without that updating s**t. I paid for a game that is in the beta testing its so worst. If there where any way to get my money back i would. This is no fun.

JoeSorry I had to dash Silican valley calls, it's tough being Head of Studio, but hey you know that. We still have a few probs following yesterdays patch, but your good at fielding these issues. The White-board is in video studio 5, nowt on it atm but you can put down a few headers and wing it mate. Remember 'The Teams' behind you, but afraid you will have to sail this sloop alone the Private Crew thing is messed up as well.
