Killed by 4 griefers at skeleton fort. Galleon is op.

  • @admiral-tweedle I think you are a toxic player and you need to be banned from the community before you infect more players with your toxic mentality.

We need a penalty for anti-social players like yourself that enjoy making other players feel bad about the way they play the game.

Please stay logged out of game and do not post your toxic comments on these forums anymore. Thank you for your understanding.

  • Yeah, its complicated

A few days ago I went alone in a fort and had a galleon there, I arrived friendly they asked if I was solo because another DUO bump them and i answered yes.

When the boss was born one of them climbed my anchor and let my boat go, I realized and killed him. I entered the fort and there was one of them looking at me not very friendly and talking to the crew, I cautiously killed him and the other friend who was next to the boss, which I also killed and hid the key.

I returned to my boat that was sailing alone, I hit the sails to return to the fort, I arrived there the Sloop DUO was there and had just sank the galleon, I talked to them that I had the key and we divided the loot

Sounds like you got out played bro.

    trolalala lala la la!

Yeah I caught that too. Sorry if the humor wasn't found in my response.

I really want to meet up with the more "spine" possessing people in these threads. Not so much the whiners, unless they are on another ship. I always appreciate the meltdowns I hear when I sink a ship. Makes it feel so.....worth it.

  • Soloing a fort = maximum risk over reward. Honestly I myself wouldn't risk it unless I had come to terms before hand that there was a 99% chance it was going to end poorly for me and I was okay with losing all that time and gold.

They knew I was alone at skeleton fort and waited.
Right when I killed the boss they jumped me and took the key.
Only by joining a team of griefers is there any chance of winning.
Left the server and joined another only to be griefed again.
Logged out until they fix the game.

Penalties should be added against players that continue to grief.
Occasionally ban players that want to ruin the fun for others.
Sloops should have an equal chance against Galleons.
Toxic players are going to be all that's left in 2 months.

    DUDE....
Cmon, learn to play. Fix the game? Fix your skill issues.
My buddy and I chased a Galleon of 4 in our stupid little sloop for an hour and a half! They turned to fight, and constantly dropped shipmates to sabotage our ship, a great crew for sure! Highly skilled, and still didn't take us out. Unfortunately they had an entire forest of wood onboard so our 100+ cannon balls smashing into their hull were unsuccessful in sinking them lol. Great fight though!

I've learned to play, but haven't fixed my issues yet. :)

Here is what you do: git gud!

  • @mighty-ace123 I'm talking about how you're just a bad player looking to complain cause you can't win for s**t so you ask them to change the game so it adjusts to your Mod edited style of playing, making every pirate a pacifist. Mod editedand uninstall the game immediately

  • You do realize this game was built FOR griefers right?

I mean 1 of the loading screens even tells you "Annoyed by griefers? Scuttle your ship!"

    Or did you miss that.

    Welcome to sea of THIEVES.

    Those thieving pirates are everywhere.

  • Yeah, that sucks. But NEVER EVER EVER play this game solo and think you're gonna have a walk in the park eating an ice cream cone. As a wise man who loved a pirate hooer once said, "You gotta keep your head on a swivel." Doing anything solo that requires you to leave your ship (especially when you have to lose sight of it) is an exercise in timing, urgency and careful planning...and even then it can get REALLY sketchy. I got curb stomped last night by a two man sloop at a skull fort just for sailing past them. I didn't worry about it because I wasn't running any cargo. They were still @$$hats, though. :)

  • @admiral-tweedle
Sloops actually HAVE a really GOOD chance against galleons. We always fight against galleons as many others do. And sometime we don't even get one single hole. Normally I HATE people which are saying "get good" and stuff like that. But actually it really depends on you and your mate. As a sloop you have a devastating advancement against a galleon, which is called maneuverability. You need to take that advantage. Then you need to be a good shooter and fighter. If you don't use that advantage you're gonna lose pretty darn fast. Exercise... Usually we win 4/5 fights against a galleon.

AND you need to think pragmatic. Usually a sloop wouldn't have a chance against a galleon. Except you are REALLY good. So its more ment, that you should flee from a galleon instead of facing it. IF you want to face it... You need to be good. You need to be good in sailing. You need to be good in shooting. You need to be good in fighting and last but not least... You need to know how you can use your advantage WISELY.

  • @relentlessvex42 I made one post im reply to OP:

"You know what kind of replies this post will get, so why bother?"

This was before I realised he was making a joke. Is there anything in that one sentence deserving of a reply like yours?

  • @relentlessvex42

  • Sloops do have an equal chance against galleons, if anything the sloop is OP. Just play smart, like park your ship right against the island, raise anchor and sails for a quick get away, and lure the captain to near your ship, kill the captain, and jump on board and sail into the wind, no chance of a galleon catching you

  • waaaaaaaaaaaaa waaaaaaaaaaaa

  • @admiral-tweedle go play a diffrent game you baby its sea of thieves the point of the game is to be a pirate, and sloops have a chance to beat galleons, I've done it time upon time upon time, with another crewmate

  • @Deckhands
Why is this post even still active?
He even spelled it out in the OP it's nothing more than a TROLL POST to try & cause more hate!

  • You win some, you lose some.
