One of the things which stopped me playing the game was the amount of time i would spend tavelling back and forwards from my ship, cashing in the loot I've just found. When you're playing solo and have even 10+ items of loot on your ship it takes so long to cash it all in, plus the fact that your character moves much slower when carrying the loot.
I think there could be 2 potential solutions to this which i believe would make the game much more enjoyable.
-
Make the movement speed while carrying loot the same as normal when on an outpost.
-
Make a docking station (some collision-free boxed region near a pier) on an outpost so when you lower your anchor it automatically sells all the loot on your ship. (Maybe at the sacrifice of less gold to balance it out, if we started earning too quickly)
Also, as a seperate topic, i think we should earn experience towards the different factions when completeing voyages as it can be a pain gathering loot and getting absolutely nothing when your ship gets taken down by an enemy crew.
