Halo Infinite's Battle Pass system is player-focused and allows for a new player to choose any past season progression to focus on. This is, IMO, a novel idea that should be adopted across the board for many video games with seasonal passes. It allows for everyone to have a chance of unlocking everything, but not before putting in the work required of it.
Now you might say that SoT already kind of does this, because the devs have said that everything can still be unlocked after a season ends - but this isn't entirely true. A key example of this are seasonal titles - once a season ends, you can no longer earn them.
What are your thoughts on SoT's seasonal setup versus Halo Infinite's seasonal setup, and in what ways can you think of that might improve the player experience for both?

Questions that I have are:
Is the season you choose still restricted to the current season timeline?
What if you don't finish a previous season's progress during the current season - will it work as it does now?
Can you repeat incomplete seasons?
