The distance is still too close and some getting around it with scuttling. If you sink there really shouldnt be a HUGE chance of you making it back to a Fort and/or the ship that sunk you.
After sinking , ships need to spawn further away.

Yes but look here please

Annnnd once again Ship Re-spawning Distance needs to be increased. Sunk a galleon 6 TIMES at a Fort and they somehow were able to just reappear in no time with NO PENALTY. WHY is this ok?
It isnt ok, far from it. But the pvp players clearly say its ok because they wanna be able to do non stop pvp even when they get beat every single time.
Its mindblowing to me why they arent ATLEAST spawned with a empty ship f*s...
Dying in PVP needs a penalty, there is NO DOUBT about it.
Either spawn with an empty ship causing you to have to scavenge before you are battle ready again(yeah its tedious, but so is sinking you 10 times in a row, deal with it.)
Or either implement a gold fee for getting a new stocked ship, 500 gold or even 1000 gold, it will make pvpers think twice before engaging in combat and think about ODDS.
Or spawn them way across the map so theu have 30 minutes to get back. Sinking means you are DEAD, let us atleast get the feeling we actually sent them off to kingdom come.
I think you need to separate pvp from fort pvp. If I'm solo on a sloop and someone sinks me when I'm on a big island or at a shipwreck and lose everything and on top of that I get a ship with no resources I wouldn't be happy for long.
Just make spawned forts area a place where ships can't appear. So when you scuttle you appear at the same distance you were from the active fort but on the other side of the map.
Secondly, sunk ships should leave floating also the resource barrels so the winner can stock up if they need to. As long as the sunk ship had resources.@coldpopeye said in After sinking , ships need to spawn further away.:

As long as the sunk ship had resources.I would have no problem with that at all, im all for beeing vary and take a look around a few times while on big islands. If i get sunk, its my own fault, i didnt pay attention.
I play solo alot, and im NEVER suprised by other ships, i look around before i go on land, and i take a scan every 2 minutes just to make sure. If i see a ship, i know ill have to be cautious. They gey close, i run off.

This... will make them have to spend time gathering resources to come back for another attack. wether they spawn in viewsight or not, if they dont have supplies they dont pose a threat.
