I'm playing on PC but my friends has PS5 and he really wants to play SoT. I know xbox and sony are competiting but it would be so lit. Ps users enjoy SoT and it wouls bring so many new players to the game. It would make it popular again I'm sure.

Easier for your friend to get an Xbox or capable PC than to have Microsoft give up one of their more popular and unique exclusives.
@benjyy4395 Sony has Spider Man (like 3 of them), God of War, The Last of Us, Horizon, and tons more. The only exclusives Xbox has are SoT, Forza, and Halo.
Fair trade imo

Fails to mention: Fable, Gears of War, Redfall, Perfect Dark, Blade, Indiana Jones, Hellblade, Age of Empires, Flight Simulator, Killer Instinct ..... should I go on?
Microsoft also has a ton of IPs and developers, even more so after the Activision-Blizzard acquisition was completed. The three you mentioned are hardly the "only exclusives" Microsoft has as I showed with a brief list.
@otherfanboy The only one I listed that could even be considered a "flop" was Redfall, and it was not that bad of a game anyway after it was patched. The only two IPs I mentioned that have not had releases yet are Blade and Indiana Jones (though the first Hellblade was multiplatform after a brief exclusivity on PS, next one will be exclusive to MS platforms). And I left a LOT off my list which was just to make a point - Microsoft has MORE potential exclusives than SONY and a lot more than you let on.
I would really like that, it would definitely be better for the game. There would be more money coming into Rare and more players, which would probably result in more content.
I don't see why Microsoft couldn't make an exception for SOT, despite being very popular it's definitely not a game that makes most people think about choosing an Xbox over a PS.
It is part of Gamepass. So if he gets Gamepass he should be able to play it via the web browser. Unsure if this works on the PS5 but I can try it tonight.
Newer Samsung TV's include a Gamepass app so that could be an option for him if he has that TV
Gamepass is supposed to be coming to Quest Headsets this year see https://twitter.com/MetaQuestVR/status/1707092482079727927

@benjyy4395 it's called an exclusive
It's not an exclusive though. It's also on PCAs thread necro (reviving of old topics) is not permitted as per forum rules, we will go ahead and drop anchor on this here. Thank you.
