    Rare seriously need to do something regarding the Fort situation there is non contests anymore
    Bring an athena Fort in an make it a decent fight like it used to be

    @chris-houlden easiest way to make forts competitive again would be to increase the time back to 1-2 hours before a new one spawns. But with loot so much easier to get these days you would have to add more value to forts as well to make them worth the fight.

    They have become stale you can sail up to a Fort and finish it with 4 or 5 forts worth of loot on board without any fear of encounting another ship its getting real boring

    A stronghold awarding Athena's Fortune reputation wouldn't work. Someone who isn't a Pirate Legend could complete it for free reputation they should not be allowed to get, even a freshly starting player could with enough time. As for reputation, strongholds already give you Athena's Fortune reputation. You get reputation for selling enough of each of the main stronghold items, reputation for selling chests, and reputation for selling skulls in the form of legendary commendations. The only thing a legend should be leaving behind at a stronghold if they do it for Athena's Fortune reputation is merchant crates/kegs and Gold Hoarder artifacts.

    Possibly but don’t you think they’ve just had their day. I’m not even PL but I’ve done them to death. I could happily spend the rest of my life without seeing another.

    We need some new stuff, not the same old stuff at a different frequency.

    @ultmateragnarok they need a super Fort something worth the fight.
    its real stale you can solo forts without any fear. when I say athena Fort its because its probably the only thing worth fighting over that n a box of secrets other than than that there's isn't really that much on offer from a Fort could also make the devs roar one more difficult its easy running the skelly over the geysers

    @ultmateragnarok also you find non legend doing athena's. For some reason they think it will level them up quicker. I know non legends athena 5 or 6 so I don't think them attempting an athena Fort wouldn't make any difference whatso ever

    I totally agree, I think it would be cool to have some athena-required missions where you hunt main-story villains such as skeleton lords or grand maritime union officials and such.
