Custom Chat Head Shouts

    I think it would be cool if we could customize a shout through the chat head so ppl that cant afford a keyboard or mouse yet can say something they have as a customized and generalized statement to communicate to ppl to be more specific when trying to use it like "no pvp today, doing tall tales!" Or "we dont care, we want your loot either way!", "have at thee!", "we stole your fish lol!" Etc...

    Idk, let me know what you guys think. Obviously this would be already solve by keyboard and mouse but just for some players like me on xbox that cant afford those right now to use. Of course if you wanted to change them tho, you'd have to go in the settings in game or something and edit them to the way you like, or even change the ones that are defaultly set to what you want too.

    While it sounds good in practice, think about the verbal diarrhea that comes out of certain gamers' mouths and then imagine it being in text.

    So you're asking for custom, pre-set chat commands in the quick-chat wheel? I can see how that could easily be implemented (simply add a 3rd page to the chat wheel and customization options either in the settings menu or vanity chest), but also abused ("Sir Spammalot at your service! Service! Service! Servi..." You get the idea).

    @galactic-geek well to be fair it already has that possibility right now. Maybe they could make an anti spamming mechanic or penalty for trying to abuse the chat head like that, set a limit of time on a person for spamming the chat like an a**.

    Say if you spam it like idk, 5 or 6 times or maybe more in a row super fast it says like on your screen only, that you cant use it until however many seconds or minutes is over or something.

    I do hate how there's no "raise the anchor!" option when on the wheel.

    @galactic-geek there is a couple that say "need help raising anchor" or "raising anchor" but also when on the helm there is a list of commands a captain would say and I wanna day there is one that specifically says "raise the anchor" on it, I'll have to look and see but you'll probably see it before I do.

    @xix-zeno-xix I know about those anchor commands, but it seems silly to have "drop the anchor" but not "raise the anchor" on the wheel. I guess they want everyone to be physically on the anchor, I suppose...

    @xix-zeno-xix I wouldn't be against having more options on screen in a single page. Why only limit it to 8 or so? There's a lot of screen real estate not being used that could, since the wheel already fills up a good chunk of it. I'd even be fine with a full-screen list format rather than the current radial menu.

    @galactic-geek you mean the amount of shouts the chat wheel provides? Hell yeah, I agree why not have more than it offers already? As long as there is a way to be able to communicate the way you want to without filling the chat head at the corner of the screen with nasty words or over and over too many times in a row.

    That would be cool and maybe a little game improving would be noticed as for players that dont even have a mic can communicate way better than they do now.

    This would be a nice idea

    I bought a $12 keyboard for my Xbox for this very reason, and it works a treat. It helps with hot key access to more of my favorite items as well.
