The fastest way to fish: Generating around 100 gold per minute per pirate.
If you hate fishing as much as I do, you'll want to get the most Hunter's Call reputation for your time possible. Thats why I got some data and figured out how to do that:
Fish in the hidden spring at Hidden Spring Keep. This pond is perhaps the smallest fishing water in all the sea. That means you'll only have to tire out and reel in the fish once. There's a rock on the edge of the sand and the spring, you can fish from atop it or to the right of it, but not to the left. If you see a non-trophy charcoal pondie come to your line, just recast. All other fish are good to catch. Don't bother cooking any fish EXCEPT for bright pondies, it's not worth the time dedication. Catch fish as long as you can or are comfortable with, then sell as the North Star Seapost. Keep in mind you don't need bait, and no skellies will spawn.
This is the fastest way to level up Hunter's Call. I also reccomend going on a LFG galleon, as every pirate adds 100 gold to your productivity. If any other ship also tries to fish there, I recommend you add them to an alliance, as every pirate in your alliance generates 50 gold per minute for you. Cheers!
