Tall Tale lost at the press of a button?

    So, I was redoing the 1st Tall Tale for the commendations, and right after picking up the Shroudbreaker, I pressed the B button on my controller or switched to a different tool (I don't recall which) and the quest item completely disappeared. It wasn't in my inventory or on the ground. Where did it go? I couldn't complete the voyage because of this and had to quit and as a result. Other TTs put the quest items in your inventory. Why not do the same thing for the Shroudbreaker?

    Since people can’t sell items like the shroudbreaker, I’m not sure what good reason there would be for not putting it in your inventory like the compasses. You wouldn’t have to worry about losing it if you sank. All the quest items should be this way.

    We have had multiple instances of accidentally dropping (or being forced to drop) important quest items only to have them be "lost" from view - either just below the ground level, or in a rock, or something like that. They were still there, though, and could be picked up - if you could find them.

    One possibly related benefit of this is that one can hide some of these items really well on the ship! But in places that I am not going to post publicly. :P
