Hey guys, I already posted a ticked about this, but maybe you can help me. After I was updated the game, I can't get past on Sea of Thieves splash screen, it crashes right after that without any error message.
1., Anniversary update checked on store
2., Tried to launch the game
3., Game launched - Version mismatch
4., Restart Microsoft Store
5., Downloaded Anniversary update
6., After splash screen, the screen stays black, after 2-10 sec the window's border switching white, a few secs after it closes without any sign of error message.
I tried the following:
1., Redownloaded and reinstalled the game
2., Disabled my avast antivirus then re-enabled it
3., Added exception to my avast antivirus where game files are
4., updated geforce drivers
5., restarted pc multiple times
6., reset xbox app
7., reset game
8., run appsdiagnostic multiple times
9., downloaded and installed a random app from microsoft store
10., tried date/time fix
appsdiag gives back this, but no drivers can be related to this issue.
Problem with BITS service : The requested service has already been started. More help is available by typing NET HELPMSG 2182.
The game runs flawlessly before the update, now it isn't.
What's next?
My windows 10 is up to date btw.
