- Ammo will be found in barrels.
- There will be a capacity on how much ammo you can carry.
- There will be a new barrel on the ship which will hold ammo.
- You will no longer get unlimited ammo from ammo boxes.
- Ammo boxes will have to be found and will act similar to other resource crates.
- Cursed ammo can also be found, which don't do damage but instead add effects to opponents.
Ammo as a resource
@trenix90 I feel that this idea would be an interesting challenge for those who are experienced at the game but I dont know if it'll help anyone that doesn't even get the full mechanics of the game as new players go. It would probably cause people to want ammo pouches in pocket (inventory wheel) so they can reload but what happens when you cant use your gun and there isn't enough ammo in the barrels to fill up your said pouch.
For people that like to use double gun combo would probably drive them away from trying to fight people like regularly and ultimately make them not wanna play anymore. At least that what I would assume, but you know, I'm not a know it all guy so...
But maybe something could be worked out I suppose.
@xix-zeno-xix For PvP, I always use double guns. I'd prefer if there were more melee combat, but unfortunately there isn't since I can just reload my guns at an ammo crate indefinitely without penalty. Think the funnest part of the game is managing your resources. Double guns would still be useful, for those who know how to manage resources.
@trenix90 well that's true but first they need to fix the way barrels have been working lately, bcuz their sometimes looking like they have something in them and then you go to look and there's nothing inside, then it says its empty after you check.
A lot of barrels in the game have also just been resetting on islands with still nothing in them while some of the others actually do get new resources.
But to me with the ammo boxes being as infinite as they are they would also have to do something about spawning back with full ammo from the ferry. I would think anyways but, what about the ammo boxes you find on the islands, would they have to get rid of those too?
Me myself the ammo being a resource probably wouldnt matter to me cuz I almost always use cutlass, but this spawns another idea in mind, what about if this were to happen, grant the ability to use 2 swords for the price of no gun equipped but now you can duel wield 2 swords.
