So me and my friend were trying to do the “Legendary Reaper of Wanderers Refuge Commendation” while flying the Reaper’s Mark Flag. At one point there was another crew that showed up to the same island as we were and we decided to set our alliance flag up to join them but it took off our Reaper’s Mark Flag off. We did set it up again and continue with our voyage but by the time we complete it. It didn’t count the commendation. WE HAD IT ON THE WHOLE TIME. ALL WE DID WAS SET THE ALLIANCE FLAG UP FOR A SECOND TO JOIN AND THAT DIDN’T COUNT THE COMMENDATION. WHAT THE HECK!!!

I know the feeling me and my crew didn't get it to count either because some toxic players thought it would be funny to constantly sink us, as a result of this we encountered a glitch with the reapers mark and being sunk. It's rather disappointing.@galactic-geek i would have done that. If you read what I wrote. I said something like “we were on an ongoing voyage and they show up on our island and wanted to team up” so it canceled the reaper flag. We were doing our voyage when they showed up. If I knew they wanted to team up earlier I would have done it your way
@unknownghosttx you said it yourself that you took the flag down to put the ally flag up. the commondation clearly says you need to have it up the entire time, does it not?

He did read what you wrote. He was just explaining the only order you can have both the alliance flag and the reapers mark so that you don’t make a mistake. Don’t get snippy at someone trying to help you out.
What happened to you was, unfortunately, a hard lesson learned. With SoT not having a real tutorial, these are just things you have to learn through trial and error. Putting up a new flag (any flag) cancels your reapers mark, and you need to have the reapers mark up from the very start of the voyage all the way to the very end of the voyage for it to count toward your commendations.
@d4m0r3d No. I did not say it. Pay attention. I said I set/equip the ally flag up and the game took the reaper flag off. It wasn’t me. Since the ally flag is on another page when you open the flag box. I thought when i equip the ally flag up it wouldn’t affect the reaper flag since it on the 1st page while the ally flag is in the 2nd page when using the flag box on the crow-nest. The commendation say you need to fly the reaper flag when doing this voyage. We were and we had it for the whole time. It just got took off for one second
@cstrap am not being snippy. I am very appreciative that he/she try to help me. Am just saying I would have done that before. But like I said the other ship showed up in the middle of us doing the voyage and wanted to form an alliance. And that is when the flag situation happened. I would have did that order if the ship showed up before we start the voyage but they didn’t. They showed up while we were doing it. Causing me to change the flag. I had it the whole entire time. Since the start and to the end. It was just took off for a second when I equipped the ally flag. I am really appreciate it for you guys help. Just stupid how SoT should fix this issue
