This is a bow to a crew, we met a few days before. My Crew and I were hunting down our tracks to a Athena Chest, when this Galleon changed course and went to full intercept.
Canons were loaded, our brig went to battle stations and the battle we all knew was coming finally emerged. It was a tough fight, but sadly for the galleon, we had a sh**load of green cursed we hailed onto our competitor. So.. a few minutes later.. their loot was ours and the crew went to their wet grave....
A story, often told between pirates.. but with one.. fine difference...
We met a little later at an outpost, not far away.. So we were prepared for the second round. Canons loaded, all prepared.. and.. nothing... no shot was fired.
"Thank you for this fight!"
WHAT Pirates! They lost their loot and ship.. but they had the greatness to applaud us and we cheered together and had a great time.
