skulls and chests really should float as long as merch loot, 5 minutes is not enough time usually.
Loot sink time.
All Loot should have the same 5 min float time on the surface at this point in time, the only reason for some to be longer than others would be if someone recently interacted with them to reset the timer before they start to sink.
That said I agree that in certain cases that they should be longer most specifically when wanting to collect Loot from a battle with the Kraken and when doing a Fleet battle. All other times there really is not that much of an issue from my experience thus far as long as you have one person available to rotate the loot if its further out from the ship when collecting it with both the ship and rowboat.
