Humble request for Alliance Backstabbers

    I love backstabbing and fighting back against backstabbers! That is basically what the game is about, isn't it? But please, I ask that you honor the Backstabber's Code: If your former alliance mate is no longer pursuing you or will not be able to reach you before you sell your stolen gold, don't cut them out of the alliance! You won't lose anything from it. I always abide by this rule, with the exception of crews with exceptionally foul mouths and glitch abusers. Please, for the sake of the crew you bested, let them in on the portion they helped you earn! Perhaps even inform them that if they don't pursue you, you will not leave the alliance. Use it as a bargaining tool, and it could save you sometime!

    Another exception, though rare, is if you are able to give them the slip in some convenient fog so that they cannot see you on the map. I am not asking for you to risk your own loot, but simply to not leave an alliance when you have the upper hand and have time to turn everything.

    I got a good story for you, I'm not much of the back stabbing type but I had a hair up my tail last night and my galley crew was ready to be the bosses of the seas, we was on the hunt for everything and one, first we started off with the skelly for, and destroyed the crew that was already there, got that done went to the skelly ship an island away, destroyed it, went to the next skull for and on the way saw a brig, destroyed them, went to fort killed it and a skeley ship came bum rushing us as we were looting... destroyed them with anchor ball jig ball and cannons till they sunk which was all of 15 secs hahahah.... then we went to an outpost and found 2 skeley ships killed them while the meg was on us... got all they taken care of... stopped at outpost and turned in and then in the distance a brig sailing around with its alliance flag ready to be joined, so we did and said "lets do skeleton fleet" we all agreed but the brig was finishing there island and right when the crew was putting the last booty on the boat we 2 legged them and cannon blasted them!!! Took a min to get all scoop up the booty by the time we got the last chest on out boat the brig was sailing back and right next to us!!! O.o hey yelled " can I please stay in alliance" so we let him cause we felt bad cause that was the same brig in the beginning.... but I told him "you may join, but there is one rule!! Stay back!! If you get to close we will kill you again and leave alliance!!" The brig complied and he got half his loot :) but we did feel bad for the guy cause we stole his loot twice I'm glad he was a good sport about it :)

    @iamkatman4 You should consider it sometime, especially if they are just passing by, that way even if you sink them eventually you are given half the loot they turn in before then~!

    @txcrnr we used to join alliances but we switched to PvP because there was nothing else to do. This latest update changed that so maybe we will join some.
