Every time I log in to Sea of Thieves I am constantly surprised. Without fail, I have so many stories to remember every time I play and it is one of the few games my wife is actually interested in me talking about. Today was no different. As I was working on commendations for the Halloween event, I approached Smugglers Bay in order to light the beacon. As I dropped anchor, a Pirate Legend swam out to my ship and helped me to get the "killed by a pirate" lantern and commendation. Then when I returned to my ship he had me kill him. It was only after I killed him that I discovered that he had replaced one of my lanterns while I was waiting to respawn so that I could get the Party Boat commendation. I only wish I would have thought to get his name because I am constantly in awe of how cool some people are in this game. Well Played Mysterious Pirate Legend, Well Played.

@westworld2106 Awesome, it is true, when the Bilge Rat Adventures come out, there are a great many Pirates out there that are willing to help. I too last night had a similar encounter, but on the reverse... 2 crews that didn't really get what was needed to be done, we all parked up next to each other in an alliance, and I went around explaining and well killing, and making them change their lantern colours.. it was an absolute joy. We all went on our way, and much gold was spread among our little Alliance.
I already had the Party Barge from earlier in the day, but went back later that night to be killed and light the islands. Picked up a random and we traveled around on a sloop flying the reaper hoping to be found or convince someone in the ferry to come find us.
We had one light left to get my mates party barge commendation when we came across another boat. We formed an aliance and they killed us. There’s the one light he needed. Before we made it back from the ferry they had switched all our lights for the alliance commendation. Poor guy, had to die die die all over again.
We were rolling around in a galleon last night and were just about done with the commendations and rolled up on a solo slooper. We helped him get several of them completed while we were there. A friend then joined our open slot on the galleon and we ended up doing the content over for a second time to get all of his commendations too. A good, long night of sailing.
