End game/athena lvl 10 what's next ?

    So I have been playing since release and I love the game worked my way up to pirate legend to start doing Athena missions and get to 10. Once there at lvl ten Athen I'm left with a question what's next ? I have everything I want or need and I do the events but they are quick to do and I was just thinking what else could we do to make it better.

    First, what about prestiging haveing the ability to reset your lvls to unlock new cloth/weapons/equipment

    Second things only pirate legend Athen lvl ten players can do . Have some missions or quests to find or fight something that will pay well

    If any one has any other idea please post below let's make sea of thieves great

    From what I understand, there is some late game content in the pipe line somewhere. Who knows what it'll be, or how long it'll take to come though.

    I personally like the idea of adding beast hunting to Athena voyages, giving them a unique aspect, instead of a just blend of all other voyage types.
    Instead of the final Athena map leading you to an island to dig up the chest, it could send you to sea coordinates where you can summon the Megalodon or Kraken to fight for your prize.

    As a (slight) alternative to prestiging, maybe opening up the rep levels to past 50 could work. They could have a functional cap of 50, so you'd get the same voyages at 50 as you do at 70, but you can get a better measure of what you've achieved after becoming a legend. They could even add more cosmetics to go with it as it levels. Even if a lot of the cosmetics were simple reskins, like giving the ghost set a different coloured glow, it'd still add a nice little incentive to keep going.

    Although I am at the very start of my pirating career (I think like level 27 gold hoarder, 20 mystic and 15 merchant), I really like the idea of a prestige system.
    Not sure how I feel about the Athena only quest line, but I do really like @Xadrasyl 's idea of the quest ending up fighting mega/kraken

    @focupeaceout the next thing is the great memories you make with other players, the buying of every cosmetic and showing off like some fashionista, play the game only in a rowboat if you’d like a challenge, be the murderest s**m you want, try to kiss Megan (megalodon), bestow knowledge to the ignorant, find out the secret lore in paintings and old books left for you to read, be the ol’ pirate you want to be chap, because no one can end your experience except you.

    @betsill but I would l lose my gold and items if you prestige you keep your gold and items and stuff just you unlock the ability to buy different items from prestige mode the more you prestige the cooler the items/clothing/boat stuff gets

    @focupeaceout I'll be happy if I just get a title that reflects my experiences.. like... a total hours played title. A publicly displayed timer of how long you havhave been over the max lvl for

    @focupeaceout Welcome to the boat. Time for you to pray for Rare to give you content while you still show interest in their game.

    Rare is more concerned about giving the person that plays once a week content than giving the players that play every day content. I mean, none of the devs are Pirate Legend so it’s not like any of them know how it feels to have nothing to do but farm gold.

    They say they care, but they don’t. They’ll give us something to do when everyone else has caught up to us. The Athena’s isn’t even fully fleshed out yet, no way they are giving us anything any time soon. WE STILL DON’T HAVE WEAPONS AND EQUIPMENT! THINK ABOUT THAT FOR A MINUTE!

    But anyway, my suggestion is do what the rest of us do. Play something else until Rare decides that we’re worth their time and effort.

    The "end game" is what you make out of it, as far as I understood. Becoming a legend and Athena gave you the maturity to now generate your own idea of gaming. Use the world, do what you want. Carpe Noctem!

    But sometimes I feel quite alone at sea with it and would like some guidance. A shining star.

    While with my bag of misfits on our brig. We chose to play a game of hide and seek. Hide and seek!? I hear you ask, well at the time it seemed an interesting concept to try. So we plopped over to Ancient Spire and had a guy staring at the sky until we told him we’re ready. We play the game as anyone should know and it turns out to be really fun. Especially when you dress up to hide in a specific spot. Big hint if you do this at ancient spire, don’t hide in the puddle inside the tunnel. They can see your gamer tag 3 meters away.

    I challenge you to go to Plunder Outpost and play the floor is lava. You have to start at the gold hoarder tenet and jump from rooftop to rooftop all the way to the shipwrights. It can be done!

    There has been many a suggestions made by several people throughout the months, even more so recently. To be honest until Rare is ready to give content we will have to play with what we got or move on till enough content is readily available to appease players ( I’m one of them) that are looking for more things to do.
