Anyone else notice that pigs disappeared from Devil's Ridge?
Devil's Ridge . . . where'd the pigs go?
We were there yesterday and there seemed to be plenty, so I think it's likely an intermittent thing, if it continues then definitely raise a ticket with Support and let the team know.
I have sometimes found that no animals spawn on smaller islands, where you would normally expect to find them. I never thought it was a bug. Just (intentional) bad luck.
We did find the same thing happen on a larger island this weekend. Having the entire crew die and meet on the Ferry of the Dashed for a moment, reset the island, and made the critters appear.
Perhaps the pigs are smarter than we've given them credit for, and have left the island by their own means in anticipation of the coming of Forsaken Shores. All those squeals and grunts weren't just meaningless pig noises. In fact, they were actually desperate attempts to warn us of our impending doom. They even went on a hunger strike to try to draw attention to the danger, without success. Having given up at last, the pigs delivered one final message to the pirates of the Sea of Thieves:
"So long and thanks for all the bananas."
@robroythered sometimes it happens...just kill yourself and reset the island, pigs should be there then
