The idea of adding more to do on the ship has been mentioned, but has anyone mentioned adding in little ganes like card games, dice games, drinking games, darts, etc?
Drinking games/ship games
@otgirlatru I would love all of the above. Iv'e thought about it before and there is so much they could do. Especially at the taverns would be a great place to meet some other pirates, and compete crew to crew, after practicing with your own crew after a bunch of long voyages.
@otgirlatru Dice and card games have been mentioned a lot on these forums but I don't think darts were ever included.
However in lieu of them I have suggested throwing knifes and hatchets.Water skiing would be a fun challenge which could be used to board the ladders of other vessels. :o)

@simplybutta could play that up on the masts with a sloop. are you allowed to move?? or just who ever naturally stumbles first?
Object is to stay on longer so its about controlling ur player drunk 😵 so yes u can move but u cant leave the plank, leaving the plank is a disqualification
@simplybutta Although the "planks" idea is better than calling it "yardarms", it would be funny if only two sailed a galleon and both lost balance at the same time and fell into the water. :o)
The yardarms wouldn't always end up with either player in water. We have often sailed a galleon as a crew of two and never seem to have much time for games. Yet on a sloop we have loads of time to kill.
@admiral-rrrsole lol both waiting for a mermaid and hoping the ship doesnt crash, i usually have at minimum 3 people so luckily we always have at least 1 on boat WHEN we both inevitably fall off our planks 1 second apart from eachother lol, plus u need a 3rd as a judge cuz if u both fall ur both gonna claim u fell second 🤣
Yep, I proposed a series of three setting appropriate dice games that use just a pair of dice and could support multiple players betting on the games too if they wanted to in a post about social activities that could be cool to include. Dice games seem on point since you see dice in the opening movie too.
@ant-heuser-kush To the best of my knowledge, yardarms hold the sails up. They are the horizontal wooden posts across the mast.
