To be really honnest I'm not down with the crew collaboration thingy :). This is a PVP game the only collaboration I'd imagine would be:

• Collaborating to defeat a threat in order to gain loot (Megalodon was that except it was soloable by a single Galeon and held no reward).
• Collaborating to fight other players.

Anything else is Rare's decision and I respect it, but I don't understand the point in a PVP game to make people collaborate for events. I rather sink them and do the fort that to do anything else! You might say I'm a pirate purist :D

Pretty much what you will find in other posts, the commendation to get the 5 kills was bugged. Out of the 7 forts I did yesterday night with 2 crews at least 4 of them didn't give a single commendation point even though there where 2 crews on the island. We tried everything:

• Only one crew shooting
• One crew shoots then the other
• No chain explosions (making sure the 5 skulls died with only one explosive and not many)
• Spawn kill
• Waiting some seconds before kill
• 3 crews (this worked)

And so on. In the end it worked for some forts and not for other and I think sometimes the game doesn't detect there are actually 2 crews on the island or some islands might be bugged.

TBH I didn't think to check which fort I was in, I was testing game mechanics, not thinking it might be fort related.

It#s not a PVP game though, its PVPVE, you can do what you want. It's cool to need to team up with people every now and then.

As i said I'm up to cooperate for PVE but sitting on thrones or exploding barrels: Meh :(, if I can do it with my crew or alone, what's the point of doing it with 2 crews? I'd prefer some mechanic where you actually need 2 ships to get a reward. Or some very hard content where you would need many people to do but that I could still try to solo with my crew to get the same rewards as if I had been with two crews (which I would most def attempt).

Have you noticed how much friendlier the sea is in the last few weeks? I have for sure!

I wouldn't know, I did the last even in 1 day then I pretty much sank every ship I encountered afterwars :). The upside is that people don't instantly run away when they see us so more ships to sink for me muhahahaha.

Nice work matey. Picked off a fair few of them last night meself an' I agree this event be a lot o' fun. I've not laughed so much playing this game in a good long while. So much boom!!!

Not first, i was with a crew who was helping me get them done, they had all finished everything already and it was only about 3pm eastern standard time

I don’t have time to find another crew to do stuff with. I get in get stuff done get out. Only have an hour or so a week to play. So for me solo is best!

Not at all. Pirates typically worked together, did not shoot at each other and swapped boats, rather than sunk them.

If anything, you're a Hollywood Pirate.

They worked together to sink other ships & steal stuff, not to sit on thrones or explode gunpowder skeletons. Give me PVP factions with corsairs, pirates & merchants and more ships on each server and I'll collaborate :). One thing I'm not is a Hello Kitty pirate :).

It's not a "I have it you can't", it's a: I see you I sink you attitude. There are enough "nice" people out there to do the event with :D

I had about two instances that didn't count. It was on shark fin. With that said I have also experienced sharkfin working.
