I have been keeping somewhat of an eye on the LFG, particularly for Xbox one, and personally have noticed a serious change in the demand for Pirate Legends.
Every other Looking for Group post is asking for a Pirate Legend to drop them an Athena voyage.
I don't know of anyone else's experience, but currently this is an issue.
It's honestly trash that people expect to be carried by power players or true fans of the game instead of enjoying it themselves.
I don't expect many PL's to return if they're only good for the amount of time they invested in the game. Those people aren't particularly impressed with PL's. They are only interested in Athena voyages.
I will probably get a lot of backlash for this post, but It doesn't bother me.
LFG posts begging for Athena voyages should be ignored.
Looking For Group
As a player who reached Athena 10 pretty early, it's frustrating to see so many people have level 6+ Athena before they even hit legend. It certainly diminishes the "prestige" of the gear.
However, there is no doubt that it is the most efficient way to level and I'd be a liar if I said I wouldn't have done it if was an available option to me.
It is a bit sickening to see so many people begging for voyage though. I wouldn't be comfortable begging for handouts all day from strangers and it kind of irks me that so many people are comfortable with this behavior.
With all of that said, nobody is forcing legends to give these people voyages and if that is how they want to play the game and enjoy it, so be it.
