Remove Snakes

Snakes are very easily avoidable kid. If you can’t avoid snakes then you’re terrible at this game

First off, I don't post videos for players who demand "proof". I have better things to do. Second, if you're doing Order of Souls, try the tactic that I and probably many others do. Anchor your boat and snipe the skeletons from your ship, or use your cannons. I moved up the OOS voyages solo doing just that. When all of the skeleton captains are defeated, I run to shore, grab the skull and get back to the ship. Play music as you approach the skull, then run like crazy away from the snakes. It's not that hard.

You posted on here, players like myself are trying to help. If you don't want help, then don't post. If you don't want to try our suggestions, then that's your choice but drop the attitude.

I'd rather see less snakes but have them roam around more. Pretty stationary and boring now.

I agree the snakes need to be less aggressive and more likely to flee as a first option and only attack if you chase them for x amount of time or they get cornered like snakes do in real life. I don't think they should be removed despite the aggro they cause.

I play some music, get em all dancing and then 💥 with my Rifle.

I have to disagree, like IRL, snakes are much easier to catch than chickens or pigs. You can run in circles for ages trying to catch the other 2 were as snakes just chills in the same spot.

Just hook & bag play a wee tune and they'll settle down, then pop them in a basket. Nice & easy!

I agree about in-game snakes. As a musician I absolutely love being able to charm the little critters with a song. I only wish I could do so with a flute or shawm. :)

But I'm going to disagree in the case of real-life snakes. I had to catch an angry (and hungry) black snake one time, and there was nothing easy about it. I eventually managed to get the feisty serpent into a cardboard box using a broom handle and nerves of steel. I released him in a nice wooded area where he could live happily ever after. But catching that b****r was an epic battle.

@fenderbendur tho i agree with you when you say the game needs to be harder.... but the game is also for all ages and making it harder would compromise the younger, targeted age groups.

Side note...... Call me an Irwin, But snakes aint s**t....

Then they originally belonged to another crew. Snake cages don't spawn randomly in the world like chicken coops and pig crates.

There is one "wild" snake cage on Snake Island, but you can't pick it up.

Ok I read the comments and you dont seem to be trolling.... wow.
So a snake bit you while you were doing order of souls missions.
Now how did the snake feel? Imagine just sitting there taking up sunrays to get your day started and then suddenly some guy shows up, starts making a fight with your friendly neigbours the skeletons to decapitate them.

I'd spit my venom at you too sir!
Now if you'd play some fine tunes I'd mellow out but nope, you're too busy.

These overly hostile, increasingly buggy boogers just need removed from the game. One of the worat aspects that are a never ending nuisance. Do the players and yourselves a favor and get rid of them for good.

Play them a song, watch how your entire world will change, and you will suddenly find yourself a happier person (in the game as well :)

@ultimaburnie I completely agree, we need to eradicate these snakes that come onto the forums and complain about non-issues to the game that benefits no one in any way.

In the real world I use my weed wacker and lawn mower. I kill at least 2-3 snakes every Sunday 😠
