This is just an idea for another faction to rank up or give players something else to do (note that this faction wont be a part of the grind to pirate legend). At outposts, there could be a new NPC that wants players to go deep sea diving for treasure or lost artefacts of some sort. The first diving suit was made around piracy time. This NPC will give you a location like A16 or H8 and then you go to that spot, anchor your ship and then go to your equipment or clothing chest to equip your player with a full diving suit. then while other crew members watch the ship, you jump into the water to sink slowly to the bottom where it gets very dark. Also while you have the diving suit equipped, Your screen looks like your in the suit and your movement is slow. At the bottom of the ocean, you then must search around the area to find the treasure, they could be in a deep shipwreck or by some skeleton bones. There would be a new threat as well, like angler fish that you can see coming at you in the dark that you could hit with your sword or shoot. Angler fish would be a cool threat, since there is already a bilge rat figurehead which is an angler fish. The description even says "A dirty, ugly fish that dwells unloved where nothing else lives? The ideals pet of any Bilge Rat." So Angler fish would be a perfect threat that lives deep in the ocean. Once you get all the treasure you can find, go back to the NPC where he will reward you with xp and gold.
