Merry Merrick’s Song

  • I would like the devs to allow only the players that participated in Hungering Deep campaign with Merrick be able to own his shanty outright.

We learned it from him, but players that didn’t do so shouldn’t be able to play it unless he or she joins in with player(s) that did defeat Meg.

  • @aaronblueeyes I’ve spoken with the devs and they’ve all agreed to remove the shanty... only for you. From now on, you will be the only person who can’t play Merrick’s Shanty. You won’t even be able to join in... your instrument will only make screechy noises. Enjoy.

Or, you can look at it this way: He taught it to us, we taught it to them.

  • Nice troll post OP.

  • Not trying to be a troll. It just makes sense that’s how it would work.

And yeah, they could have done a viral thing, where players that didn’t fight the Meg and learn his shanty, could learn it thru playing in harmony with those that had. Similar to the CJ-9 BO-Rifle from Star Wars BF.

Which would be more interesting in their story telling by saying Merrick influenced those he met and then the players could spread the shanty organically, rather than just allowing everyone to have the song.

  • Stop being greedy, you got your exclusive stuff if you did it.

  • @aaronblueeyes actually they changed the shanty a little bit, it's not exactly Merricks shanty anymore...

    AND...very stupid suggestion

So basically what your suggesting is the Devs starve a certain number of players within the game of content?

I will upvote this for being the worst suggestion ive seen so far.
