What's the deal with titles?

    Are titles automatically saved to your profile or must you manually claim them before a certain time?
    I keep forgetting to check whenever I receive a new title. Then I forget to check again the next time I play.

    Things like defeating the megalodon or sitting in ten different highchairs, will those titles remain available if and when I choose to use them?
    I manually looked into Merrick's foot locker and got the shark tattoos and bite scar. Should I have done that for event titles too?

    @admiral-rrrsole Most titles you unlock you have to manually purchase (at no cost) before you own it. This was the case for the Meg event however with the Skele Thrones these titles are automatically owned without the need to purchase. I am hopeing this will be the case for future events since its so easy to forget to do this.

    Yeah, commendations and promotion titles are bought in the clothing store. However the event titles act as a reward for completing the event.
    my reaction for receiving 2 at once as the last one was a solo throne was probably amusing to hear

    @admiral-rrrsole :( oh no. Yeh the 2 Meg event titles might not be avaliable to purchase in the clothing shop after the event but worth checking.

    Oh I remember purchasing it at the clothing shop for HD. Hopefully Rare realizes this and awards the players who have the Shark Bite Scar & Tattoo's/Drum, both the Shark Hunter & Shark Slayer titles.
    Perhaps it is already being planned/discussed.

    you purchase items in the vanity chest from the clothing shop.
