I was a part of the alpha of this game and got the founders pack. I have had the title and these sails equipped since the founders pack was released but it just isn’t as cool as some of the other sails. I feel like we should either get more stuff out of it or make the sails cooler or maybe even add a ship paint too. When someone sees your ship they should know that you were there since the beginning
I think you should be happy you got something from it at all. It's not a big accomplishment to be founder, it wasn't available for everyone and all you had to do was sign up and get picked. You received a unique sail and title that nobody else could get, why isn't that enough? If you want to let others know you were there from the beginning, wear your day-1 eyepatch.
I think this really goes back to the question of why Rare decided that purchasable items would be locked to a specific color. They could have locked items to a specific pattern or skin with the player able to change the color of the item while at port.
just like @FishSt1ck said, you should be happy you have them, a friend gave me his code because this wasn't his kind of game, but he knew i liked the game, me as a closed beta tester and open beta player, didn't receive anything.
and i understand why they didn't make the founder's stuff super in your face, they didn't want the most fancy looking stuff locked behind a door that nobody can get basically.

@OP: Did you join the the beta to help testing or just because of the fancy stuff? There were tons of betas out there for other games, where people did not get anything.
