I talked to merrick multiple times after killing the megalodon and still haven't received the figurehead and I have the title shark slayer tho somebody please explain this to me as soon as possible

No, I made a voyage right now and still no figurehead.
I would raise one now, but it won't matter if you do it after the event ends as the team can check the data to make sure you were due a reward.

Drink 3 glasses of Kraken Rum then try raising the mid sail while it is in the starberd position in front of Merrick then turn it to port and then fire all 4 port cannons from front to back after drinking 3 grogs. Make sure the anchor is down and you're in your skivvies. Approach Merrick with a banana in hand and utter these exact words; &%3#!%? %#@3 &%$ buhga! If it doesn't work at least you and your character shared a drunken moment together😁🍷🍺🍷😁
