The Hungering Deep

  • The Hungering Deep was a great little addition to this game. I'm looking forward to helping other pirates get it done.

    I found that the quest dialogue was a bit vague and one time only dialogue was not a good move considering the level of threat around the npc's of interest. This needs to be changed for the future in other campaigns I think.

    It was only through word of mouth and Reddit we discovered the location to the monster and established the method to summon it, I feel things could have been a bit more straight forward.

    The boss itself is great but lacks any intuitive mechanics. It's a big dumb thing that looked me dead in the eye when I was in the water with it, swimming under the surface. Surely it should have swallowed me up?

    6/10 for the Hungering Deep. Once again, lots of potential but nothing feels truly optimised to its full potential.

    It's a nice 'little' addition and I'm looking forward to what's coming next.

    What things are time sensitive? I'm not understanding what will stick around and what will be gone in 2 weeks.

  • The 10/10 Part was sailing together with a group of really cool guys who I sadly never added during or after. If you guys on the sloops find and read this-we went back and avenged you with a second galleon that didn't make it.

    Don't go without a well supplied ship ladies and gentlemen, the monster may be dumb but it's hard to kill and likes ships.

    Apologies for the late response - the campaign/ quest line is limited but meg will remain to summon. From my understanding at least...

  • I would love to finish this content but cannot find anyone that wants to group up... I worked all week, guess people have done this or are tired of this now. Way to go forcing 5 people to summon new content, hope I can participate before the timed event is up.

    Make it easier with at least two crews maybe, but don't prevent players from experiencing new content.
