Coats over dresses

I’d like to make the suggestion of allowing us to wear coats over dresses. This is something I don’t understand why we can’t do... The dresses should be treated the same as shirts while layering clothing... We miss out on customization options just because we want to wear a dress. Seems a little silly, especially since most of the coats look really cool! Please consider.
