Endless black screen.

    After the new update.. my crew and I suffered a lot of endless black screens that forced us to reopen the game, I alone had to close and open the game 5 times under 30 minutes when using beacons or returning from the ferry.... also despawning keys because you cannot get to them.. is terrible...

    Same here.
    Last update is verry painfull.

    Rare can't do an update without ruining the game... Get ready for the first DLC.

    Rare can not do a decent update, takes 3 bugs and puts 6 more.
    I got discouraged, I imagine the twenty-ninth day the infinite s**t that will happen.
    The game seems to be produced by beginners in the programming business.

    @scorpino753 i had a endless black screen after the update while trying to load up the game i hard reset my xbox and it worked fine not sure what caused the issue but it was fixed after i think your problem is different though

    The precursor to the black screen freeze is a load of lag and rendering issues. How do ships just pop up in front of you in the open water? Why are characters walking at 45 degree angles? Why are we worried about expansion packs, when the basic game still only works half the time?

    All servers running normal? I hope your kidding..

    In Rare's defense, from a retired programmer, a simple inclusion to an otherwise perfectly working code can cause a ripple effect and it can be hard to track down where the conflict actually lays.
    I'm not saying that the SoT coding was ever working perfectly for everyone, but while it worked they should have debugged the heck out of it before adding even more potential conflicts in the way of new dynamics.

    I had a bad gut feeling when I praised the list of fixes in 1.0.8

    This has to not only be a HUGE embarrassment to Rare but also to "Micro$oft studios" making them all look like, well....

    Although Rare are not the only ones facing very buggy game play, the recently released "State of Decay 2" is also riddled by a huge list of bugs/flaws.

    I can't even get into a game today, stuck infinitely loading at the start 😂 Those are genuine tears. Rare, why u do dis?

    Same. Restarted the game, same problem. My crew mate can see my shadow, and I can hear sounds from the ship, but not loading sucks.

    Same issue unfortunately. It's totally killed my soloing. At least with a crew you can get reinvited. Solo, you're donezo.
