Figure I would post some of my encounters with hackers and they are very obvious ones at that.
So first would be the typical aim bot sniper where I was chasing a sloop with some high waves and the guy is sniping me so far away we were just in render range almost never missing. Did not got close enough to look at names sadly and chose to give up the chase after getting killed a few times.
Second time was a very crazy obvious hack involving the Kraken having three people on a sloop and magically summoning explosive barrels. Encountered this sloop twice while on a galleon even hearing them verbally being toxic as well as pretty much saying to the world they hate the game so they are going to F*** with anyone they see. First time they were launching Hell Marry shots baiting us to open water so we did just that and when we get within 100ft of Ancient Spire outpost and they get close suddenly Kraken and they instantly drop anchor outside of the black water and shoot at us. We get loose and sink the sloop thinking we just had bad luck but two hours later this was proven very wrong when they come at us again and magically Kraken pops up on roids instantly sucking 3 people off and wrapping 3 tentecles on our galleon and find three people on the sloop with one of them sword lunging to our ship then boom a second later he somehow summons an explosive barrel. The audio of the Kraken was very messed up with a full 1-2 minutes of the Kraken audio compressed into 1 second when it popped up the second time. The whole server was weird in itself with shipwrecks everywhere even witnessing them spawn and despawn in rapid succession and the day and night cycle felt very fast.
Third time and I managed to report one of them since the guy was admitting to hacking with 3 other people when I called him out on it. So heading to a raid find a Galleon there but not that good of one but for some reason no matter how many times we hit them they would not die until they finally kill us mostly out of luck because they were that bad. Well we immediately come back just as they finish the raid and gathered the loot so we give chase along with another galleon. The whole time they are dropping people off the ship to try and board us and this is where things got obvious. One of them catches the ladder on the side of the ship and just sits there letting 3 of us shoot him not once, not twice, but six times all aimed shots at him with pistols and blunderbusses before finally he climbed up the ladder and eats 3 more point blank shots and dies. But it gets better hey pull this c**p again with a different guy somehow tanking 3 blunderbuss aimed shots and sword spam while stuck in a corner and not dying. We manage to catch up drop their anchor and sink their ship but run into the same problem where none of them die and it wasn't until they all grabbed explosive barrels that fell out of their crows nest next to our ships and suicide bombed killing all of us due to the ridiculous radius sinking us that they died. We got lucky and spawned back to grab the loot and take it to the port that was very close when we all sunk.
Fourth time and amazingly this was the same server and an hour after that fight we meet a sloop whose two man crew was desinked 5-10 seconds so what they would do is sword spam and shoot blunderbuss in random directions. We were all taking ghost damage while these guys were swinging randomly no where near us. I had even ended up in the water near their sloop and started taking sword damage but no one was near me then 5 seconds later I see the guy jump in the water swinging his sword randomly.
