The performance on the Xbox One X definitely requires tweaking. It comparison to my Xbox One and Xbox One S the performance is noticeably worse, I'm not even comparing it to the PC version on my high-end gaming PC. So hopefully that will be fixed soon.
On a similar note, I'd suggest @Rare-Employee add all the graphics and video options from the PC version of the game on the Xbox One (X) version as well (they aren't very extensive anyway) so people can manually adjust the settings to get the best image quality/performance ratio for themselves as well as pick the resolution of their liking and also elect to run it at more than 30FPS if the console is powerful enough at the chosen settings.
You could also add selectable presets to default for each console, Xbox One, Xbox One S and Xbox One X.
Treating console players like clueless children that can't figure out how to tweak their games for performance vs. image quality by not adding all sorts of image quality options to choose from is something developers should stop doing, especially now that there are consoles of one type that come in flavors like with the three Xbox One variants with vastly different performance potential. Many would love to be able to tinker with their settings to tweak the game to their liking. This goes for any game, by the way.
