Sea of thieves , incredible Amount of Ghost Hit Marker since last patch ?

  • Since the last patch i have encounter a incredibly large amount of instance where " hit marker " do register visually on client side but " hit " do not register any damage what so ever on the ennemy target .. a guy who does not eat banana and can tank up to 5 pistol shot in a row and 2 shotgun point blank isnt normal and target that tank up to 3 sniper shot without eating a single banana and are just shooting back at you and reloading isnt normal either ... what is going on with the servers hit confirmation ?

    I have seen these " ghost hit marker " that are not confirmed as hit by the servers wich make the target to get no damage what so ever even if on your client you got a clear hit .. but its getting out of end now ... i have seen countless peoples almost unkillable because of this in the recents days .. guys who take up to 4 pistol shot when they have no banana at all or clearly are shooting and reloading therfor cannot eat banana while doing so ...

    Can i know what is going on with the servers ?

  • @stew360 Ghost Hits are a bad problem in SoT.
    The Hit "Reg" is a Problem with the laggy / bad Server & the Communicaton between Client and Server.

  • @comp4ny Yep i should say that having a 80ms + on a East coas US server for a eastcoast player is kinda unaceptable in a 30 ish player servers ... in battlefield we have like anywhere from 15 to 30 ping on an East coast server when from the east coast ... thats said things have gone worst since last patch ... they introduce even more server hit confirmation error it seams ...

    There is so many sucessfull hit that seams to register no damage what so ever the pistol is suposed to be a 2 shot kill weapons unless the guy keep eating banana but in most case it wasnt the case the guy was firering and reloading and couldnt remotly have eaten banana while shooting 3 shot + reload in a row ... it make fight very randoms because there is so many sucessfull hit that dosnt count for some reason ... took me sometime 3 shot of blunderbuss point blank + 4 consecutive shots of pistol to kill a guy this mean the guy would have to have 5 time the current amount of health to survive this without banana but it take up to 3 banana to heal 1 full bar so yeah

    these " ghost hit marker " are a HUGE problems and need to be adressed ASAP better PING better thick rate is require for this game considering the " unreal style " pace of play where peoples jump all over the place there is no room for " randoms hit " not registering ... things seams to have been more stable in the past now its worst
