Advice and Tips to the Solo Sloop

  • I wanted to start a positive thread for all you people that like to Solo.
    Here is my advice.

    • Parking Parking Parking, where you park your ship when you Solo can make a huge difference. Use the landscape or island to hide your ship if possible, I always try to park my ship on the side of the island that will be less visible to the traffic lanes.

    • If you have multiple treasures on one island don't return to your ship with every chest. Hide your loot till your ready to leave, so if someone does sink your ship you need only sail back when it's clear to get your loot.

    • This should go without saying check the sea's often with your spy glass, be aware of your surrounding's.

    • Don't stockpile your ship with more then 3-4 treasures before cashing in.

    • Sloop Vs a Galleon sail upwind your faster, sail close to rocks or islands the galleons can't manoeuvre as good as you.

    • Sail around the outpost to ensure you see no mermaid in the water.

    • When dropping you anchor bring up your sails and raise your anchor the ship wont move and you can leave that much faster.

    • Before you leave port stock up on Planks and Bananas.

Remember sailing solo is the hardest mode of this game.

If anyone else has some good advice please share.

    Thank you Mate happy sailing.
